Espace Nordique d'Issarbe (1400 – 1500 metres)
The Espace Nordique d’Issarbe, in the heart of the Barétous Valley , offers 31 kilometres of signposted slopes for the delight of cross-country skiers - beginners or experts - and itineraries developed for outings on snow shoes.
The tracks go through the forest, over the crests and offer an exceptional panorama of views. At the resort there is a reception area with the possibility of hiring equipment, luges, etc., and a restaurant.
The accommodation on site: the village of Lanne en Barétous, 15 km from Issarbe, has a choice of furnished rural gîtes.
For example, the Houndate Holiday Village, set close to the resorts of Issarbe (15 Km) and La Pierre Saint Martin (23 Km) in the heart of the Pyrenees. On 2 hectares there are 17 very spacious chalets with all conveniences and with capacity of 4 to 12 people.

Price of access to the ski area (31 kilometres for cross-country skiing – 9 slopes and specially developed itineraries for the practice of snow shoeing): €5.50 per day for adults and €3.50 per day for children aged 6 to 12.
