Espace Nordique d'Iraty (1200 – 1500 metres)
In the heart of the biggest deciduous forest in Western Europe (5,000 hectares), mainly made up of beech trees, the resort of Iraty offers 35 kilometres of skiing areas with signposts for cross-country skiers and two tracks for hikers on snow shoes.
Iraty is also the starting point for many snowshoe tracks, with excursions of 1 to 4 hours to enjoy nature in this huge forest with a professional guide. And for kids, there is a special luge area.
The resort is set around a village with 40 wood chalets offering varying capacities (3 to 30 people), sufficiently far from each other for guests to enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest and the beauty of the site. You can stay in one for a weekend or a week.

> ski package by the day: 6.50 € for adults, 4 € for children (under 16)
> chalet rentals: from €155 for a 2-night weekend package and €340 per week, except school holidays.
