Aquitaine Effect Gourmet Packs

Illustration par Gonzague de la boîte à effets AmoureuseThe Aquitaine Agriculture and Food Promotion Association is out to get everyone to taste the Aquitaine effect! Here is an original suggestion from them, with a collection of packs presenting 3 or 4 typical products of the region.

 

The night bird will delight their friends with pâté containing Espelette pepper, some Axoa (a Basque speciality), Bayonne chocolate and a bottle of Sainte Foy red wine.

The sporty types will savour Agen prunes, organic chocolate-coated Périgord walnuts, Périgord strawberry jam and a large glass of organic fruit juice.

The Romantics will enjoy fine slices of foie gras with some Espelette pepper jelly, washed down with some Sainte Croix du Mont sweet white wine.

 

The products come with a booklet in which three of the region's leading chefs give some recipe ideas for the different seasons. Delicious!
