Bordeaux by bike
"Everything looks better when seen from a bicycle", is the motto of
Bordeaux cycling club Guidons Futé. Your multilingual hosts Christiane
and Paolo (they speak French, English, German and Italian), are
determined to prove it 3 times a day with their special guided tours... from Bordeaux to Arcachon or even Saint-Emilion, or indeed any number of famous attractions.
Let them introduce you to some little-known treasures: a village designed by Le Corbusier in the heart of the Graves wine region, beautiful squares tucked away in the city centre, a new perspective on the UNESCO-listed city from the hills of the right bank... There is also a night-time adventure option.
The association will rent you a bicycle, or you can bring your own. You will need to sign up in advance, and tours can also be tailored to meet specific requests. Tours range from 3 hours to whole days (including a train journey) for the longer tours visiting Saint-Emilion or the Médoc.
Prices: from €20 for 3 hours to €60 for the whole day: reductions available for families, large groups etc…
