Recent events have given us a new reason to talk about Chalosse, the region where Les Landes takes on a new face and produces wine (Tursan), where numerous rivers and springs provide endless pleasure for lovers of canoeing and thermal spas (Dax)...
In Mugron - Saint-Aubin, more precisely - Le Moulin de Poyaller is a wildlife reserve, and a lifelong dream turned into reality by owners Martine and Jean-Charles. The name comes from the 400-year old watermill, whose wheel still turns today.
In a barge or on foot, spend a magical day exploring the forest and meeting its inhabitants: miniature falabella horses, goats, wallabies... and the famous white deer.
This year the reserve welcomed a new arrival - this birth was a rare, precious occasion, like the beautiful moments when the noble white deer cool down by bathing in the river, to the amazement of their human visitors... We just had to mention it!
