Once the home of Dr. Mendy, this manor house and its beautiful gardens are located in the heart of the Basque Country, between Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, Bidarray and Saint-Palais.
It is now a luxury guest house run by the doctor's grandson, Xabier, with his Brazilian wife Cristina.
So you can expect a warm welcome in French, Basque, Spanish, Portuguese or English... But one thing all can agree on is the international 'mmm' which accompanies the excellent food, with dishes made from fresh local produce or Brazilian specialities - the choice is yours!
