You are sure to have heard of the famous châteaux and wines of Saint-Emilion, but did you know that the Jurisdiction of Saint-Emilion is also a UNESCO-listed world heritage site?
The cobbled streets of the preserved medieval village are adorned with artists, well-stocked wine merchants (undoubtedly!) and welcoming restaurant terraces... Saint-Emilion also boasts a multitude of underground treasures: a monolithic church, catacombs... there is even a museum housed in the underground tunnels!
In the surrounding area, the vines stretch out towards the Dordogne in the east and Entre-deux-Mers to the south…
This package offered by the tourist office includes a guided tour of Saint-Emilion, lunch in one of a handful of selected establishments and two wine-tasting tours of winegrowing estates.
And to relax at the end of the day, choose between a room in one of two tasteful guest houses or a room in Hôtel Château Grand Barrail, with "luxury, tranquillity and exquisite pleasure" guaranteed, whichever option you go for!
