The 4 seasons at the Gargantua

You can come to the Gargantua simply to make the most of the guest rooms in this little corner of the Lot-et-Garonne, set between the sunflower fields, Landes forest and characterful villages. While you're here, try some of the delicious local produce served at the guest house…

But you can also choose from among the themed breaks concocted by your hosts. Cookery, Romantic break, Wine discovery, Just girls… Planned visits alternate with free time to discover the area or relax in the house.

In the cookery break, for example, local produce is bought from the nearby markets or from neighbouring producers and you then create and cook your evening meal. The fare is seasonal - spring vegetables, orchard fruit, autumnal cèpe mushrooms, and the famous 'poule au pot' (chicken stew) to keep you warm in winter…

Marlène is French and Marc English, and their warm welcome comes straight from the South West of France. They will make sure your stay is a memorable one. Just take a look at the photos on their website if you need any proof!
